Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate experienced chef to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, menu execution, kitchen management, and maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all meals
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Supervise kitchen operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Manage food portions and minimize waste
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering of kitchen supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- 3–5 years proven experience as a Chef
- Must have worked in an uptown / high-end restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
