Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for Business Affairs, Managers to oversee the various affairs of the entire ABM organization.

  • His or her basic duties involve supervision of performances of staff, business operations, and budgetary recommendations.
  • He or she also plays an active role in the decision-making process by submitting detailed reports about the work of the organization.
  • More importantly, a Business Affairs Manager forms a liaison between the organization and the public.
  • The position will have primary responsibility for the operating budget and financial analysis, working with stakeholders to manage budgets.
  • The Business Manager will be responsible for all budgets, forecasting, reconciliations, monthly payroll. This includes providing financial models, spend and trend analysis, budget variance reporting, and prioritizing recommendations for planning decisions.
  • The Business Manager will also provide support for year-end closing and tax reporting preparation.
  • The position will be knowledgeable and comfortable standardizing business processes and resource planning tools and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness to enable fact-based, timely, and collaborative decisions that enhance the mission of ABM

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required (MBA or MS in Finance/Analytics Preferred)
  • Previous financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience required
  • Advance Excel skills required 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including professional email writing skills and the ability to enforce policies and guidelines diplomatically but assertively, including with those at higher levels.
