Area Manager
Job descriptions & requirements
Operations & People
· Oversee daily operations across 6–7 restaurant branches
· Lead, coach, and motivate Branch Managers, Supervisors, and Restaurant Teams
· Conduct performance reviews, inductions, and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
· Drive team performance across three metrics: Grow People, Grow Customers & Grow Business
Commercial
· Grow outlet turnover by at least 40% per annum
· Achieve monthly balanced scorecard performance of at least 75% and NPS score of 80%
· Drive sales, average spend, and conversion to improve margins and profitability
· Manage daily staff briefings, product merchandising, and stock loss reduction
· Support new outlet openings in line with brand standards
Marketing
· Plan and direct outlet-level marketing efforts in coordination with the Brand Manager
· Develop loyalty and retention strategies to maximize revenue
· Create co-branding partnerships and initiate brand promotions
· Handle first-level customer complaints and conduct scheduled key customer meetings
Compliance & Finance
· Ensure full legislative and food safety compliance across all outlets
· Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly P&L accountability for all assigned outlets
· Keep food wastage below 1% of food sales
· Ensure accurate opening, closing, cash-up, and daily reporting procedures
Requirements
Qualifications & Education
· Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field
· Postgraduate qualification in Hospitality Management is an added advantage
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) and workplace safety
Experience & Skills
· Proven QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry knowledge and operational experience
· Strong business development acumen — ability to grow turnover and profitability
· Solid financial literacy — ability to read and manage P&L statements
· Experience in human resources management, team building, and industrial relations
· Supply chain and stock management experience at outlet level
· Marketing and brand management exposure
