Job summary

To support day-to-day procurement, logistics, inventory control, and accounting operations by ensuring accurate records, timely sourcing and delivery of goods, proper cost allocation, and compliance with company policies, under the supervision of the Associate Accountant and relevant managers.

Job descriptions & requirements

  • Support the end-to-end procurement process by preparing purchase requisitions, obtaining quotations, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to sites, offices, and customers.
  • Receive goods, verify quantities and specifications, and resolve delivery discrepancies in coordination with suppliers and supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, delivery notes, supplier contracts, and invoices.
  • Manage inventory records by tracking stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and conducting periodic stock counts.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify reorder requirements, and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Support warehouse and stores operations, including proper storage, labeling, issuing, and returns.
  • Process supplier invoices, match them with supporting documents, and assist in timely payments and supplier reconciliations.
  • Assist in customer invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding balances where applicable.
  • Allocate procurement, logistics, and inventory costs to the correct projects or cost centers.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records in the company’s accounting or ERP system related to procurement, inventory, and project costs.
  • Support preparation of financial, procurement, inventory, and cost control reports for management review.
  • Assist with payroll support activities and preparation of related schedules as required.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate procurement, inventory, and financial documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements, and perform any other assigned duties.
