About the Role:
As we grow our procurement capabilities, Linksat Technologies is hiring a dynamic, self-driven Technical Procurement Technician to join our team. The Technical Procurement Technician supports the Procurement Unit by ensuring that all sourced products and solution components are technically compliant, cost- optimized, and correctly priced, with appropriate margins applied for both solutions and standalone products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review technical specifications, BoQs, drawings, and scopes for procurement of related items.
- Confirm all items meet required technical standards and solution design requirements.
- Validate compatibility and interoperability of solution components and recommend technically acceptable alternatives where applicable.
- Support in pricing products and solutions, ensuring correct cost build-up
- Support preparation of technically accurate RFQs.
- Review supplier quotations for technical and commercial accuracy.
- Ensure product and solution compliance with procurement and pricing SOPs.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years in technical procurement, engineering costing, or pre-sales support.
- Demonstrated experience in Product pricing and margin application, solution costing , and BoQ pricing.
- Exposure to engineering, ICT, telecoms, power, or electro-mechanical projects.
