Qualifications, job requirements and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Provide certified copies of the academic documents.
- Registered by the Pharmacy board and a member of the pharmaceutical society of Uganda.
- At least 5 years’ work experience in providing support in the management of the national pharmaceutical supply chain system, handling logistics medicines and logistics information management systems.
- Demonstrated good analytical and presentation skills with Microsoft office packages,
- Provide technical assistance to districts to quantify, order and manage health commodities
- Support and coordinate for quantification, ordering and redistribution of commodities to sustain lifesaving care
- In collaboration with DHTs, MEL teams, support HMIS 105-6b reporting for all supported facilities
- Build capacity for health care workers to manage stock at supported facilities
- Provide program teams and DHT with regular updates on stock availability across facilities to
- facilitate redistribution and continuity of care
- Coordinate implementation of Supervision Performance Assessment and Recognition Strategy (SPARS) and PEER strategy in all supported districts.
- Provide support supervision and technical assistance in collaboration with the supported districts to ensure continuous improvement and strengthening of the supply chain systems.
