Specialist - Radio Network Deloyment

Education

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication / Electrical Engineering or any other relevant degree.
  

Work Experience        

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in radio planning and Optimization which must include: 
  

• Experience across diverse OEM vendors such as ZTE, HUAWEI 
  

• Experience working with subcontractors to deliver on assigned works 
  

• Experience working with RF measurement tools like cable analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Multimeters, inclinometers, RET controllers
  

• Strong understanding of different radio network configurations for 2G, 3G, WIFI, LTE, 5G 
  

• Project Management
  

• Planning the hardware configuration of 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi base station sites
  

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure that 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi sites operate optimally as per the set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  

• Raising and coordinating the execution of work orders for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi installations
  

• Supervising the installation of 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi base stations
  

• Interfacing with network warehouse in the verification and tracking of RAN equipment
  

• Deployment of ad hoc sites e.g. mobile BTSs and pole sites
  

• Implementing normal radio access upgrades and downgrades for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi
  

• Supervising site upgrade and hardware modernization works such as MIMO upgrades, sector splits, height increments, RRU swaps
  

• Coordinating with network operations to resolve site hardware faults
  

• Manage base station repeater installations
  

• Managing site hardware configuration and integration
  

• Managing and ownership of the MTN site build toolkit and its implementation
  

• Generating reports as regards all site commissioning and upgrades works
  

• Carry out any other duties that shall be assigned from time to time
