Software Developer (Laravel/PHP)

We are seeking skilled Software Developers based in Kampala, Uganda with strong expertise in Laravel/PHP and API Development. You will design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable web and mobile applications for our clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
  

• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in software development.
  

• Strong proficiency in Laravel/PHP (mandatory).
  

• Solid experience in API development and integration (RESTful services).
  

• Good understanding of MySQL; knowledge of PostgreSQL or MongoDB is an added advantage.
  

• Experience working with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, Angular, or any modern JavaScript framework is highly required.
  

• Ability to integrate front-end interfaces with backend systems and APIs.
  

• A portfolio or GitHub account showcasing previous projects is an added advantage
  

• Develop and maintain applications using Laravel/PHP.
  
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define and deliver software solutions.
  
• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
  
• Follow best practices in documentation, coding standards, and Git version control.
