Subject Matter Expert - Entrepreneurship Skills

 Job Description:

❖ Expertise and Knowledge Sharing:

• Entrepreneurship Expertise: Offer in-depth knowledge in youth entrepreneurship, covering key areas such as idea generation, business model development, project management, fundraising, marketing, and scaling innovative solutions.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with curriculum developers to design and refine entrepreneurship modules that are practical, relevant, and engaging for young aspiring entrepreneurs.

❖ Program Development and Enhancement:

• Program Design: Develop and implement a comprehensive youth entrepreneurship program, consisting of problem identification, team formation, solution development, and business model creation.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality educational content, including lesson plans, training materials, multimedia resources, and assessment tools, tailored to youth entrepreneurship.
• Innovative Practices: Introduce and incorporate innovative pedagogical practices and digital tools to enhance the entrepreneurial learning experience.

❖ Assessment and Evaluation:

• Develop Assessment Tools: Create tools and methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the entrepreneurship program and measure participants' progress.
• Analyse Data: Assess feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and adapt the program accordingly.

❖ Collaboration and Partnerships:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with management, government agencies, and private sector partners for project engagement. Research and Continuous Improvement:
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in entrepreneurship education and youth empowerment.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update program content to ensure it remains relevant, effective, and impactful.

❖ Documentation and Reporting:

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of program materials, training sessions, and assessment outcomes.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on program progress, impact, and areas for development.

Desired Candidate Profile/ Required Experience & Qualifications:

❖ Educational Background:

• Master’s degree or higher in Business, Entrepreneurship, Education, or a related field.

❖ Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in entrepreneurship education, program development, or a related area focusing on youth.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful entrepreneurship programs for young people.
• Experience in creating and utilizing digital content for educational purposes.

❖ Skills:

• Strong expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation.
• Excellent curriculum development and instructional design skills.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in creating and utilizing multimedia educational content.
• Ability to analyze data and use it to inform program improvements.
