Role Description The Professional Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala, responsible for promoting Platinum Credit’s financial products and services to prospective and existing clients. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and reaching out to potential customers, explaining loan products and eligibility criteria, conducting client needs assessments, and guiding applicants through the loan application process. The role involves achieving individual and team sales targets, maintaining accurate records of client interactions, and following up on leads to ensure timely conversion and excellent customer experience. The Sales Representative will collaborate with branch staff and management to support marketing initiatives, ensure compliance with company policies, and contribute to the growth of the customer portfolio in Kampala.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in customer relationship management, including building trust, handling inquiries, and providing clear product information.
- Strong sales and negotiation capabilities, with experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets in financial services or a related sector.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including confident presentation abilities and active listening.
- Basic numeracy and financial literacy, with the ability to understand loan terms, repayment plans, and credit evaluation principles.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple client cases and follow-ups efficiently.
- Proficiency in using standard office software and mobile-based tools for data entry, reporting, and customer tracking.
- Minimum of a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in microfinance, banking, or field sales is an added advantage.
