OneWorld Health is an INGO dedicated to providing sustainable, affordable, and high-quality healthcare to underserved communities. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately and safely.
• Provide patients with clear guidance on correct medicine use, storage, and possible side effects.
• Receive, verify, record, and arrange stock to prevent expiries and shortages.
• Support tele pharmacy operations including invoice generation, patient follow-up, and credit/cash sales.
• Maintain accurate stock and dispensing records in both manual and electronic systems.
• Ensure compliance with National Drug Authority (NDA) and internal pharmacy policies.
• Work collaboratively with clinicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) and a valid practising license.
• At least 1–2 years’ experience in a hospital, community, or retail pharmacy setting.
