Packaging Team Leader - Biscuits

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Diploma, in mechanical, Electrical, electronics or similar.
  
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
  
• The ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members.
  
• Ability to identify and resolve packaging issues.
  
• Knowledge of biscuit production processes, machinery, and equipment.
  
• Understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
  
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. 
  
• Previous experience working in a related industry preferred.
  
• Exceptional analytical ability toward solving Packaging-related concerns.
  

• Leading, motivating, and guiding a team of packaging operators.
  
• Assisting the Food controller with administrative tasks like packaging schedules and reports.
  
• Packaging Team Leader to monitor packaging of products or the effectiveness of the machines, ensure an accurate amount is packed at the right quality.
  
• Coordinate and plan packaging priorities, workflow, and schedule.
  
• Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent packaging delays.
  
• Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of packaging machines to prevent machine breakdowns and malfunctioning.
  
• Identifying and resolving packaging issues, such as equipment malfunctions or quality problems.
  
• Appointing labor toward the smooth running of the packaging process.
  
• Overseeing quality control throughout the packaging process.
  
• Ensure safety measures and procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards.
  
• Ensure the packaging process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
