MICRO CREDIT SALES AGENT ASSOCIATE


Job Summary:

Cloud Capital  Micro Credit Sales Agent is responsible for recruiting, promoting and selling micro credit   products and services to clients through their field based network. This role involves recruiting, building and maintaining client relationships, understanding clients' credit needs, and recommending suitable  and appropriate credit facility. The agent will be field based with a duty report station assigned. Majority of the key customers are traditional retailers running small micro businesses. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment-Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including  market visits, on premise engagements, referrals , networking and cold calling among others
  • Recommend appropriate products & services based on their needs and  available micro-credit products, ensure that they are aligned with their financial objectives. Demonstrate the benefits of the recommended product
  • Oversee and ensure on boarding of  the clients through applicable KYC guidelines
  • Ensure only suitable clients are recommended and onboarded
  • Monitor client base performance and define tactics to ensure that they honor their payments
  • Conduct impromptu field visits to ascertain the business performance
  • Compile agreed monthly performance reports
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their credit requirements  and needs.
  • Stay updated on a wide range of micro credit and other financial products and service
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments to understand clients' current financial situations and business funding requirements.


Top accountabilities:

  • Achieving set targets.
  • Revenue
  • No of customers recruited
  • No of customers retained
  • Reports and record keeping updated and accurate client information
  • Agent network performance


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma with demonstrated experience
  • Experience with a microfinance or bank 
  • Proven experience in credit management and sales is an added advantage
  • Experience working with an agent model
  • High entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven and motivated
  • Analytical skills to assess clients' financial situations and recommend product solutions.
  • Sales-driven mentality with negotiation and closing skills.
