The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, generate quality leads, and support sales growth. This role involves managing end-to-end marketing activities — from campaign planning and content creation to performance tracking — ensuring cohesive and results-driven marketing efforts that align with the organization’s goals.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or any related fields
- 5+ years of marketing experience in Uganda
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, offline channels and consumers in Uganda (mass market consumers especially
- Excellent communication, writing, and content creation skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Ads, etc.)
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive projects from concept to execution
- Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.) are a plus
- Develop and manage the overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals
- Plan and execute campaigns across digital channels (social media, email, paid ads, SEO, etc.)
- Create and oversee content for website, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials
- Manage company social media presence and grow online engagement
- Coordinate events, partnerships, or influencer collaborations as needed
- Monitor and report on performance metrics (ROI, lead generation, engagement, etc.)
- Work closely with sales and leadership to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals
- Manage marketing budget and relationships with external vendors or freelancers
