Laundry Attendant

Sokoni Africa Limited is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all linen and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standard. Your role is essential in providing a pleasant environment for our guests and maintaining the hotel's overall excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  
• Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is advantageous
  
• Understanding of laundry procedures, chemicals, and fabrics
  
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
  
• Physical stamina for lifting and standing for long periods
  
• Reliable, punctual, and excellent in teamwork
  

• Efficiently sort, wash, dry, and fold all linens and garments
  
• Inspect items for stains or damages and treat accordingly
  
• Operate and maintain laundry machines and equipment
  
• Monitor laundry supplies and place orders when necessary
  
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
  
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  
• Assist in other general housekeeping tasks when required
