Infrastructure Remediation Administrator

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology /Computer Science or related field.
  
• A professional Security Certification such as (SANS, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, CNSSP, CFFP, NSE).
  
• Network Administration Certifications such as (CCNA /P)
  
• 5 years of work experience in an enterprise IT environment as an IT Security, Network or Infrastructure professional/ specialist.
  
• Proven experience supporting IT security and implementing IT security technologies.
  

1. Ensuring compliance in corporate IT assets and services with requirements established by information security, business continuity and risk management policies.
   
2. Remediating vulnerabilities in I.T infrastructure (software & hardware).
   
3. Administering endpoint protection systems and act on the threats reported.
   
4. Administering Patch management systems and coordinating with Systems administrators to update applications automatically or on scheduled maintenance.
   
5. Reviewing logs from Log Management systems and responding to actions required to mitigate threats identified.
   
6. Providing Technical support to the Information Security & Resilience team in responding to IT Security Incidents.
   
7. Maintaining IT Risk Register and coordinating Risk forums.
   
8. Ensuring that the security features of selected technology solutions and their deployment architecture are evaluated by the Information Security team.
   
9. Verifying and testing regular routines for backup of the technology environment and data.
   
10. T Department coordinator for resolution of IT Audit Findings & Internal Control Findings
    
11. Coordinating with Information Security & Business Continuity Officer in the preparation of IT Disaster Recovery Plan and conducting of Disaster Recovery tests.
