Role Summary
The Sound Collective is a dedicated music hub designed to provide children aged 4-15 with comprehensive music education and enrichment opportunities

The Finance & Administration Officer supports the smooth daily operations of The Sound Collective by managing financial records, student administration, scheduling, and parent communication. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy, organisation, and a positive experience for parents, teachers, and students.


Key Responsibilities
Finance Responsibilities
● Track student payments and maintain accurate fee records
● Issue invoices and receipts to parents
● Follow up on outstanding payments professionally
● Prepare simple monthly financial summaries
● Support budgeting and cost tracking

Administrative Responsibilities
● Manage student enrollment records
● Maintain attendance and lesson schedules
● Support teacher scheduling and coordination
● Handle parent inquiries (phone, WhatsApp, email)
● Organise and file school documents and records

Operations Support
● Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
● Support smooth student arrivals and departures
● Help coordinate events, performances, or workshops
● Ensure policies and procedures are followed


Required Qualifications & Skills
● Certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
● 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative or front desk role
● Basic financial record-keeping skills
● Strong organisational and communication skills
● Comfortable using basic digital tools (spreadsheets, messaging apps)
● Ability to work with children and parents professionally
