Job descriptions & requirements
To qualify for the role, you should have:
First Class or Second Class - upper bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or any STEM degree
Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
Full or part professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or other recognised qualification).
Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards will be an added advantage
At least 1 year of experience in a similar or related role or otherwise demonstrate ability and interest to quickly learn and handle complex technical financial and sustainability reporting matters.
Demonstrate expertise in relevant accounting frameworks (IFRS Accounting Standards, ISSB Sustainability Reporting Standards, INPAS and IPSAS).
Provide technical accounting and financial reporting support to clients and internal teams as a financial and sustainability reporting subject matter specialist.
Drive implementation of new financial and sustainability reporting standards.
Keep up to date with changes to financial and sustainability reporting standards.
Perform pre-issuance review of financial statements and sustainability reports.
Compile financial statements and sustainability reports.
Be a member of our Professional Practice Group as a financial and sustainability reporting specialist.
