Key Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and monitor goats daily.
- Maintain a consistent spraying schedule for tick and pest control.
- Support breeding, kidding, and care for newborn kids.
- Keep daily records of feeding, spraying, and herd health.
- Safely store and administer medicines and supplements under vet guidance.
- Report emergencies immediately to management and veterinary staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of pens and grazing areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in goat or livestock care.
- Knowledge of tick control, goat feeding practices, and disease prevention.
- Honest, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to live on-site in Mpigi.
- Basic record-keeping skills (reading/writing required).
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive pay: UGX 400,000 – 600,000 per month (based on experience).
