Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience:
2 years’ experience in a busy IT environment
2 years’ experience specific to software development and maintenance of applications
2 years’ experience specific to UNIX shell scripting, Database programming
Ensuring continuous operation and maintenance of IT Enterprise Applications to provide uninterrupted, high-quality service.
Roaming and Interconnect Operations
Corporate/postpaid-related Operations.
To attend to incidents, work orders, problem tickets, changes etc. pertaining the relevant applications/systems assigned
Ensure optimization of the assigned IT applications to meet company KPI-s and customer expectations
Development of technical documents including Standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides
Derivation of trends in performance from statistics as well as from customer complaints to provide long term solutions to problems identified.
Serve MTN UG’s customers and provide solutions to customer problems to improve the customer experience
Matrix management across Information
Working with multiple vendors and business units
Execute any assignments that may be assigned from time to time at management’s discretion
