As a Credit Sales Officer (CSO) of AZIMA, you will play a significant operational development role in contributing to shaping the growth and success of AZIMA.

As CSO you will use your Credit Sales knowledge, acumen and experience to make credit sales whilst filtering credit sales prospects, and helping develop and implement Credit Sales policies, procedures and practices, whilst helping ensure that the Sales function operates in alignment with the company vision, mission, goals and culture, to help drive organisational success. 

CSO Responsibilities

  • Assist in growing the Credit Sales Function.

  • Optimising Credit Sales Functions CSFs/KPIs.

  • Executing Credit Sales strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.

  • Implementing Credit Sales plans to optimise cost-efficiency.

  • Maintaining positive, ethical and trust based relations with key stakeholders including customers, the board of directors, shareholders, business partners and authorities.

  • Performing Credit Sales operations in compliance with ethical, legal and regulatory obligations.

  • Assisting or guiding and collaborating with other Credit Sales staff in their duties.

  • Ensuring Credit Sales policies and guidelines, and legal implications are clearly communicated.

  • Stretch capability to deputise for Head of Credit Sales, as required.

  • Assist in the recovery and collection of outstanding fees/ arrears and late payment fees.

Requirements

  • Credit Sales acumen, knowledge and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree level qualified in Banking, Business
    Administration or related field.
  • +2 years at Credit Sales Officer level, performing Credit Sales in
    a similar organisation.
  • Good verbal and written communication, negotiation, persuasion and
    presentation skills.
  • Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to calmly excel in high-pressure situations.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Financial Services market, and; on industry best
    practise.
  • Proficient in Business productivity tools like Microsoft Office,
    Google Workspace, as well as analytics and visualisation tools like
    Power-BI, Tableau, Orange.
