WE’RE HIRING: CONTENT CREATOR – UNCLE BILL’S

Kingdom Trading Limited is looking for a creative, energetic and highly hands-on Content Creator to build awareness and excitement around Uncle Bill’s, our household and consumer products brand.

With hundreds of Uncle Bill’s products across multiple categories, we are looking for someone who can continuously discover interesting ways to show, demonstrate and tell stories about our products through engaging digital content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, engaging TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, product demonstrations, lifestyle content and short-form videos.

• Develop creative concepts that make everyday Uncle Bill’s products interesting, useful and shareable.

• Personally shoot, edit and produce content using a smartphone, camera and appropriate editing tools.

• Identify products with strong content potential and turn their features and uses into compelling stories.

• Produce how-to videos, product hacks, comparisons, demonstrations, challenges, trends and customer-focused content.

• Regularly research TikTok, Instagram and other platforms for emerging trends and adapt relevant trends for Uncle Bill’s.

• Work with customers, staff, influencers and creators to produce authentic user-generated-style content (UGC).

• Support new product launches, promotions and retail campaigns with creative content.

• Maintain a consistent pipeline and calendar of fresh content.

• Track content performance and learn from views, watch time, shares, saves, comments and engagement to improve future content.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven ability to create engaging short-form video content.

• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and social media trends.

• Good smartphone photography and videography skills.

• Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva or similar tools.

• Excellent creative instincts and storytelling ability.

• Comfortable appearing on camera when required and directing others on camera.

• Ability to work quickly and consistently produce content rather than waiting for perfect conditions.

• An understanding of Ugandan audiences, popular culture and what makes people stop scrolling.

• Previous experience creating content for consumer, retail, FMCG or lifestyle brands is an advantage.

What Success Looks Like

We are looking for someone who can walk through our warehouse, pick up an ordinary Uncle Bill’s product and immediately think: “there’s a great TikTok/Reel we can make from this.” Success will be measured by content output, reach, engagement, shares, video watch time, audience growth and ultimately increased awareness and demand for Uncle Bill’s products.
