Farmer Onboarding & Sourcing: Sourcing and onboarding coffee farmers to build a strong supplier base.
Procurement Strategy: Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Supplier Management & Negotiation: Identifying, evaluating, selecting, and negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Order & Delivery Management: Monitoring order statuses to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of production, processing, packaging, and distribution materials.
Cost Efficiency & Quality: Driving cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, while conducting regular supplier performance evaluations.
Market Tracking: Tracking market trends affecting logistics and coffee production inputs.
Requirements
Work Experience: 2–3 years of experience in coffee procurement.
Location: Must be based in or operating within Lukaya or Miwula.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (flexible if candidates possess relevant hands-on coffee procurement experience).
Coffee Expertise: Deep understanding of coffee quality standards and the ability to negotiate pricing based on quality assessment.
Core Competencies: Strong strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, inventory/supply chain management, vendor relationship management, and team leadership skills.
Integrity: Excellent communication abilities and high standards of business ethics and integrity.
