Our client is the developer of the No.1 android browser in Africa with amazing features and content.

The client seeks to fill the above vacancies in Uganda with persons who commit themselves to the content industry at the earliest time possible.

THE JOB

The successful candidates will be responsible for improving the browser experience and business offering through content creation and user experience management.

Responsibilities;

• Monitor, identify, and collect breaking news and trending topics, send daily push notifications based on user behavior and location
• Source, edit, and publish good articles to provide high-quality feeds in the Browser
• Familiar with local and worldwide content creators including news agencies, bloggers, and social media influencers, and be able to work on a content partnership
• Analyze social media trends and user behavior, research good APPs, then share insight with the teams to improve the Browser

QUALIFICATIONS

• The job holder should have the following qualifications;
• University graduate, Relevant major (News, Journalism Mass Communication, etc.) is a plus.
• Have two or more years of experience in the news industry as a news editor, journalist, content writer, and blogger. Full-time work experience in top news agencies is preferred.
• Experience working in a browser or social media environment will be an added advantage.
