Position Summary 

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Biomedical Equipment Expert to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will oversee the evaluation, installation, calibration, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of medical and laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities 

• Inspect, install, calibrate, and maintain biomedical and laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair diagnostic and clinical instruments such as analyzers, centrifuges, incubators, spectrophotometers, and imaging devices.
• Support tender preparation by providing technical specifications and compliance documents. 
• Conduct preventive maintenance and prepare maintenance schedules and service reports.
• Train end-users and support staff on safe operation and basic troubleshooting. • 
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure warranty and spare parts management.
• Participate in equipment acceptance testing and validation. 
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, calibration logs, and service histories. 
  

Qualifications & Skills 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field. 
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in medical or laboratory equipment maintenance
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic, laboratory, and imaging systems (e.g., hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, centrifuges, autoclaves, refrigerators, etc.). 
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, installation, and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills. 
• Ability to work independently and travel for on-site service. 
• Experience with government or donor-funded medical supply projects is an added advantage.
