Pest Control Technicians

• Inspect or survey all commercial and residential properties, both indoors and outdoors.
• Decide on a course of action to control or eliminate pests.
• Prepare estimates and bills for clients.
• Prepare and spray various pesticides by the use of a cross-section of equipment.
• Place and set traps for rodents.
• Advise clients on how to prevent future pest infestation.
• Ensure use of environmentally friendly and approved pesticides
• Use and work with appropriate PPE.
• Endeavour to attend training courses attached to your field.
• Maintain an understanding of the company’s integrated management policies and apply them in your daily duties.
• Always wear company uniforms, including name tags, at the office premises and in the field.
• Ensure strict time keeping at work and at the client’s premises.
• Create pest control reports and rodent bait maps.

Standards

• Correct spraying methods and use of equipment
• Prior proven experience in fumigation
• Adhere to the company Health and Safety Policy, Environmental Policy, and Quality Policy.
• Adhere to the company's housekeeping and pest control procedures.
• Proper selection, use, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Regularly submit client inspection reports, invoices, and receipts to administration.
