Key Responsibilities
Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate sourcing of telecom-related goods, equipment, and services
- Support preparation and issuance of RFQs/RFPs
- Facilitate vendor selection processes in line with procurement policies
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintain supplier database and procurement records
- Support vendor performance tracking and evaluation
- Ensure procurement documentation is complete and properly filed
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Follow up on customs clearance and import/export documentation
- Track shipments and escalate delays where necessary
- Liaise with logistics providers, couriers, and clearing agents
- Support transport planning and delivery scheduling
- Maintain logistics documentation and shipment records
Warehouse Operations Support
- Support receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials
- Ensure proper handling and storage of telecom equipment
- Maintain warehouse organization and inventory records
- Support periodic stock counts and reconciliations
- Assist in implementing warehouse safety and operational standards
- Support warehouse space utilization
Inventory & Asset Control
- Track movement of materials and equipment
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment planning
- Identify slow-moving and obsolete stock for review
- Support asset tagging and tracking activities
- Coordinate tracking of fleet assets (vehicles, motorcycles, trucks)
- Support monthly asset accountability reporting
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain procurement, logistics, and warehouse documentation
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation systems
- Track compliance requirements and follow up where necessary
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support project teams and operational departments
- Follow up on supplier commitments and deliveries
- Escalate vendor performance issues where necessary
- Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare procurement, logistics, and inventory reports
- Update inventory and asset tracking records
- Support demand planning and budgeting processes
- Track procurement and logistics performance metrics
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
Professional Certifications (Preferred)
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional – APICS)
- CPSM / CPM
- PMP (Added advantage)
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Experience in telecom, ICT, construction, utilities, or technical environments is an added advantage
- Experience supporting procurement of technical equipment preferred
- Experience supporting inventory across multiple locations is desirable
