Job descriptions & requirements
- Inspection of all delivery vehicles/suppliers before unloading of materials.
- Inspection of incoming materials during offloading.
- Verifying that accepted materials are properly segregated and stored to prevent mix-up with rejected materials.
- Sampling of all incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packing materials, to be done in time for chemical or microbial analysis.
- Participate in new materials trials and report writing.
- Carry out pre-qualification audits for new suppliers.
- Hold and isolate non-conforming materials to avoid cross-contamination.
- Assist in the review of documentation of inspection results across all areas as per the defined requirements of product specifications and regulations.
- Participate in new product launches to ensure suppliers are capable of delivering materials to the required quality standards.
- Verification of FIFO rules during issuance and usage of materials in various factories.
- Generation of weekly, Monthly reports, and Audit reports.
- Assist in review, implication and update of company records, e.g., SOP and working instructions.
- Participate/Lead quality audits for suppliers and trending of the audit performance.
