Supervisor - Mill

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering/Bachelor of Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering or its equivalent or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution
  

• A minimum of two (02) years’ experience for Degree holders and five (05) years for Diploma Holders in related field. Experience in handling of shift workers is an added advantage. Good supervisory skills, good communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Responsible for starting and stopping of mills in quick time by following safe procedures.
  

• Make sure right amount of imbibition water is applied with right temperature.
  

• Report to the shift engineer in case of abnormalities found in any of running equipment.
  

• Scrutinise the predecessor’s handover report to obtain information on the condition of the plant and make a quick physical inspection of the equipment with help of mill supervisor.
