Sports Journalism Intern

ChampionSport.ug is a sports news site from Kampala, updated every day. We cover the Uganda Premier League, the Cranes and other Ugandan sport.

We are looking for people around Uganda who can go to a match or sports event near them and send us a report from it.

How it works:

1. Tell us which match or event you can get to, the date, and what it costs you to get there.
2. We cover up to 10,000 UGX per event, transport and entrance together.
3. One reporter per event, so confirm with us before you go.
4. Send the finished report with your own photos to championsportug@gmail.com by the day we agree.

What we want from an event: the result, what happened, a few quotes if you can get them, photos, and short video clips if you have them.

The first report is a trial. If it works out, we agree on regular coverage.

Any sport is fine: football, volleyball, basketball, netball, rugby, athletics, school and community sport. We especially want people outside Kampala.

Apart from the transport money this is unpaid, but your name goes on every report we publish.

To apply, use Easy Apply and tell us where you are based and which sports you can cover.
