Your responsibilities

The role of the Product Growth Team is to facilitate user centricity for the products developed by our diverse portfolio of SaaS startups. As a Senior Product Designer within this team, your primary responsibility is to foster and expand a user-centric product design culture within saas.group.

You will coach our brands to delve deeper into understanding the problem space, pinpointing high-impact focus areas, and outlining solutions. Your role will involve executing quality work at all stages of the design process, as well as acting as a consultant and facilitator.


In particular, you will:

  • Support a few individual brands on a continued basis, contributing your UX design skills across all stages of product development, from problem framing alongside product managers and product analysts, to hand-off to engineering and QA during the implementation phase.
  • Help brands understand how they can best integrate design methods in their workflows.
  • Conduct UX audits for newly acquired brands.
  • Participate in product discovery and ensure usage of user research best practices to validate problems, potential solutions and underlying assumptions. Depending on the brand, this also involves talking to customers.
  • Conceptualize ideas that solve complex problems by bringing simplicity to the user and value to the company.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce risk to the business by conducting user research, prototyping value propositions in a pragmatic way, and setting up experiments to test assumptions and hypothesis.
  • Drive, assist, and amplify internal initiatives aimed at raising the bar of product design within all brands of the group.
  • Participate in design critique and knowledge sharing sessions with your colleagues from the central design team.

What you bring to the table

  • You are an awesome generalist. ****While everyone in our small product design team is encouraged to spend their time pursuing work that is in line with their core strengths and ambitions, most of our start-ups don't currently have a dedicated design resource. This means we're looking for people who enjoy the entire design process.
  • 4-7+ years of relevant digital product design experience. We are looking forward to speaking with candidates who can prove the ability to think strategically, interaction design skills, expertise in a variety of user research methods, and experience designing visually pleasant, usable and accessible user interfaces.
  • You know how to pick the right approach to explore and illustrate design solutions, whether that means using concept maps, storyboards, process flows, sitemaps, low fidelity wireframes, or higher fidelity interactive prototypes.
  • You have foundational skills and motivation that allow you to take initiative, set up frameworks, and improve product and design operations.
  • You are an excellent teammate with a collaborative attitude. You enjoy working with others, have empathy for the needs of colleagues from all functions, and can help us grow an healthy working culture.
  • You are fluent in English and have solid communication skills in meetings as well as in async contexts.
  • You have already used Figma, Miro, and other tools that are standard in the industry.
  • You are comfortable working in a remote-first setup.
