Function/ Department: Sales & Marketing

Job Level: Head of Department


KRA 1: Sales Management.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and align with company objectives.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to the sales team to drive performance and meet revenue goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the customer base and foster long-term client relationships.

KRA 2: Marketing strategy and Execution.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the company's services, brand and value proposition effectively.
  • Create compelling marketing campaigns, content and materials that effectively engage our target audience and drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.

KRA 3: Administration.
  • Manage strategic partnerships and business opportunities to enhance the company's market presence.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth areas and target markets.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, address inquiries, concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Analyze sales data and marketing metrics to evaluate performance and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee budget management for sales and marketing activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Plan and participate in industry-specific trade shows, conferences and events to showcase services and network with potential clients.

Job-Related Experience and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in Logistics and Transport industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage sales and marketing teams in a similar industry and generate increased sales revenue.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.
  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, techniques, and best practices in the transport and logistics industry.
  • Budgeting and financial planning experience.
  • Strong understanding of regional and international markets.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and innovative skills; ability to see opportunities and translate them into sales.
  • Relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Coaching skills that enable subordinates to grow and succeed through feedback, instruction and encouragement.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to successfully work as a team member.
