Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a sales team to achieve revenue targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The role also includes managing client portfolios, preparing sales reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other departments, lead team-building initiatives, and continuously improve sales processes to align with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Relationship Management: Proven experience in sales, client acquisition, and relationship management, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Business Development and Strategy: Skills in market research, strategic planning, and identifying new business opportunities to expand revenue streams.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Experience in leading and managing sales teams, motivating staff, and fostering teamwork to achieve objectives.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong ability to manage client portfolios, analyze sales data, and prepare detailed reports for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Technology: Familiarity with CRM software and sales-related tools for tracking and optimizing team performance.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Additional Considerations: Experience in the real estate or investment sector is an asset. A results-driven mindset and knowledge of the local market in Uganda are highly advantageous.
