A Maintenance Sales Executive drives revenue by finding new clients, selling Subscription, selling materials/equipment, understanding customer needs (work place compliance and safety, architectural specs/designs/civil works, electronics, electrical and plumbing works), preparing bids/proposals, negotiating terms, and managing client relationships from lead to close, requiring strong industry knowledge, communication, and CRM skills to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales: Cold calling, networking, attending trade shows, identifying prospects, and generating new business.
- Client Engagement: Meeting clients, understanding project requirements (scope, specs, budgets), presenting solutions, and explaining product/service features.
- Proposal & Bidding: Preparing detailed proposals, bids, change orders, and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiating prices, terms, and closing deals to meet sales targets.
- Project Management Support: Liaising with operations, coordinating project execution, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Account Management: Maintaining existing customer relationships, providing support, handling complaints, and securing repeat business.
- Reporting & Admin: Tracking sales activities in CRM (like Salesforce), submitting reports, managing budgets, and keeping customer databases updated.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, materials, equipment, design elements, and local regulations.
- Sales Acumen: Negotiation, presentation, communication, interpersonal skills, and closing ability.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce), basic estimation, and understanding technical specifications.
