  • Identify, approach and start new customers while diligently checking their creditworthiness and financial stability – to do this in conjunction with local distributors in Uganda.
  • Develop solutions, relationships, and contacts with the stakeholders of key projects, clients, and consultants from design, through tender to award and execution.
  • Identify, qualify, and quantify gaps in the market in terms of product and opportunities and report back to the relevant segment manager and the General Sales Manager.

  • Through the weekly reports on sales performance, opportunities, forecasts and with the project tracker, endeavour to always achieve budgets.
  • Properly negotiate for payment terms and collect due invoices within agreed terms.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and ensure knowledge and correctly circulate to all relevant departments.
  • Produce monthly reports: highlight major projects and orders, competition activity, key market information and any complaints from customers.
  • Report back on any gaps and weaknesses in internal sales and customer service and delivery processes.
  • Prepare and submit case histories and job references monthly through the correct documentation, including photographs, text and approvals where required.
  • Forecast demand in terms of product and volume monthly and report to line manager.

  • Working experience in a multinational environment will be an added advantage
  • Fluent in English and be willing to travel extensively within Uganda
  • Computer literate
