Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Agent role based in Luweero town and Nakasongola. The Insurance Sales Agent will identify prospective clients, present suitable insurance products, and explain coverage options, benefits, and terms. Daily tasks include meeting with customers, conducting needs assessments, preparing quotes, and following up on leads to close sales. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, handling policy renewals and updates, and coordinating with insurance brokers and carriers as needed. The agent will provide ongoing customer service, respond to inquiries, and support clients with claims or policy changes while meeting individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Insurance Sales and general Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and handle inquiries professionally.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices, or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Candidates should demonstrate goal orientation, basic numerical skills for preparing quotes, and comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is an advantage; a relevant diploma or degree in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards in all sales activities.
