- Achievement of agreed sales and revenue targets for books and stationery products.
- Growth in customer base and market share within the assigned region.
- Number and quality of new institutional, retail, and corporate clients onboarded.
- Strength and retention of key customer relationships.
- Effectiveness of sales campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Timely, accurate, and insightful submission of sales and market intelligence reports.
- Quality of customer feedback regarding service levels and product satisfaction.
- Contribution to the overall growth and sustainability of Storymoja through increased revenue, visibility, and market presence.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in the publishing, education, or book distribution sector in Uganda.
- Experience selling to schools, bookstores, or educational institutions is a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented with a passion for sales and relationship building.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage multiple accounts.
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills.
- Good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- Professional, reliable, and ethical.
- Passion for books, education, and literacy development.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
