As an Edtech Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and acquiring new customers, building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, and promoting our range of Edtech solutions. This position offers significant earning potential through commission-based compensation, rewarding your efforts and sales achievements.
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and attending industry events.
- Conduct in-depth research on potential clients and their needs to tailor sales strategies and effectively position our Edtech solutions.
- Engage with decision-makers and stakeholders in educational institutions (e.g., school administrators, district officials, educators) to understand their challenges and present our products as solutions.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations, virtual or in-person, to showcase the features, benefits, and value of our Edtech solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized proposals and negotiate contracts, ensuring a win-win situation for both the client and the company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and develop competitive sales strategies.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the Edtech industry or related fields, with a focus on consultative selling.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel, as required, to attend client meetings, industry conferences, and other business events.
- This position is commission-based, offering a competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential. The more successful you are in generating sales, the higher your commission earnings will be. Additionally, opportunities for performance-based incentives and bonuses may be available.
