Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. The Sales Associate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and present insurance services that meet client objectives. Daily activities include prospecting, conducting client meetings, preparing sales proposals and quotations, and following up on leads to close deals. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate delivery of services, maintaining up-to-date records in sales systems, and providing regular reports on pipeline and performance. The Sales Associate will also support account management by responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably within advertising, marketing, or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain advertising solutions clearly to diverse clients.
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships, manage multiple accounts, and follow up consistently to close opportunities.
• Proficiency in basic office software and digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and comfort working with CRM or sales tracking systems.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented work style, with a willingness to learn about advertising products and market trends.
• Relevant education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, along with fluency in English and local languages as applicable.
