Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. The Sales Associate will engage directly with customers, present products and services, answer questions, and support clients in making informed purchasing decisions. Daily responsibilities include identifying potential customers, following up on leads, maintaining accurate sales records, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery, handling customer concerns professionally, and contributing to promotional activities or events. The Sales Associate is expected to uphold company standards, maintain an organized workspace, and provide consistent, high-quality customer service.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, build rapport, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
• Basic sales and negotiation capabilities, with an understanding of lead follow-up, closing techniques, and target-driven work.
• Comfort with maintaining accurate records, handling cash or digital payments, and using basic office or point-of-sale tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct in all customer and team interactions.
• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service is an advantage but not strictly required.
• Completion of secondary education; additional training or certification in business, marketing, or related fields is beneficial.
