Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala. The Sales Associate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, present agency services to prospective clients, and maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients. Daily tasks include conducting outreach through calls, meetings, and presentations, preparing basic proposals or quotations, and following up on leads to close sales. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and services are delivered as agreed. The Sales Associate will keep accurate records of sales activities, support basic marketing efforts, and contribute to meeting individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales or customer-facing experience, with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional client relationships.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, including confident presentation abilities and clear written communication.
• Basic understanding of recruitment, advertising, or marketing services, or a strong interest in learning these areas.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple leads and tasks.
• Proficiency in common office software and digital communication tools; comfort working with sales records and reports.
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, collaborate effectively in a team, and meet set targets and deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an advantage, as is prior experience in an agency or service-oriented environment.
