Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala. In this position, the Sales Associate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and present agency services that align with client marketing goals. Daily tasks include prospecting and cold outreach, scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing proposals and quotations, and following up to close deals. The role also involves coordinating with the creative and account management teams to ensure accurate communication of client needs, tracking sales activities and performance, and providing regular sales reports. The Sales Associate will represent the agency professionally at events, networking functions, and client presentations.
Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals.
• Knowledge of advertising and marketing concepts, with the ability to discuss campaign strategies and agency services confidently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and present ideas clearly.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple leads, meetings, and follow-ups effectively.
• Comfort using basic digital tools such as CRM systems, email platforms, and productivity software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace).
• Ability to work on-site in Kampala, collaborate with internal teams, and adapt to a fast-paced agency environment.
• Previous experience in sales, account management, or client-facing roles (experience in advertising or marketing is an added advantage).
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
