About The Job
- We are seeking a results-driven Sales Agent responsible for developing sales within an assigned territory or customer portfolio through proactive prospecting, customer relationship management, and opportunity development.
- The role focuses on identifying customer needs, promoting the company’s products and services, generating profitable sales, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- 1. Business Development
- Prospect and develop new customers within the assigned territory.
- Identify customer needs and business opportunities.
- 2. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with customers and prospects.
- Conduct scheduled customer visits and follow-up activities.
- 3. Opportunity Management
- Identify, qualify, and manage sales opportunities.
- Prepare and submit commercial proposals and quotations.
- 4. Sales Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system.
- Prepare visit reports and activity reports.
- 5. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
- Identify new projects, investments, and emerging customer requirements.
- 6. Health, Safety and Compliance
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in field sales ( equipment, or machinery industry preferred).
- Past experience selling heavy equipment, spare parts, or construction and mining machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
