Reach Truck Operator

Job Overview:

The Reach truck Driver Will be responsible for operating the Reach truck and efficiently

Loading and offloading of goods from delivery vehicles. He is also responsible for stacking and movement of goods within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently loading and offloading of goods from delivery vehicles using the Reachtruck.
• Arranging stocks in designated areas following stacking procedures and space optimization guidelines.
• Operating the Reach truck in compliance with safety regulations and equipment handling standards.
• Accurately moving stocks as instructed by stores/warehouse supervisors, ensuring correct quantities and locations.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly Warehouse zone, Free of Hazards or obstructions.
• Keeping the Reach truck operation license up to date and participate in warehouse-related skill enhancement.
• Adhering to all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Result Areas:

1. 100 % Stock Movement accuracy
2. Compliance with stacking SOPs.
3. Zero damages due to handling
4. Zero reported safety incidence.

Qalifications & Experience:

• Certificate / Diploma in supply chain or related field
• Reach truck operation license
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners. (Valid Reach truck operation certificate)
• Good physical condition.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication.
