Programme Development Specialist

This is a full-time role for a Programme Development Specialist based in Kampala. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing programs to support the organization's mission. Responsibilities include proposal development, resource mobilisation, monitoring program progress, engaging with local and international stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s values and mission. The position also requires conducting needs assessments, creating reports, and improving the effectiveness of programs.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills for program assessment and evaluation.
• Excellent Communication abilities, including written and verbal skills, and proficiency in stakeholder engagement.
• Fundraising skills to support the promotion and sustainability of programs.
• Proven ability to work in both in-office and remote environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Development Studies, or related disciplines.
• Prior experience in managing programs and working in non-profit or humanitarian organizations is a strong asset.
