Pharmacy Auxiliary Staff.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable pharmacy auxiliary staff to join our team. As a pharmacy auxiliary

staff member, to play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the smooth

functioning of our healthcare services.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a diploma from a recognised institution in uganda or equivalent qualification.
2. Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling and record-keeping.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
6. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area, including shelving, storage, and workstations.
3. Receive, unpack, and store incoming pharmacy supplies and medications.
4. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock checks, and placing orders as needed.
5. Prepare medication orders for patients as per prescriptions under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
6. Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions.
7. Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
8. Collaborate effectively with other pharmacy team members to optimize workflow and enhance patient care.
