Nail Technician

Main Responsibilities

• Do manicures and pedicures professionally, including scrubbing, shaping, trimming, and polishing.
• Apply gel polish neatly and ensure it lasts (no chipping).
• Do acrylic nails, including tips, overlays, refills, and shaping (coffin, square, almond, stiletto, etc.).
• Create nail art such as stickers, rhinestones, chrome, ombré, French tips, and other trending designs.
• Perform builder gel and BIAB services for clients who prefer natural nail strengthening.
• Handle cuticle care gently and hygienically.
• Provide spa-like foot care, including exfoliation, foot scrub, and massage.
• Maintain salon standards by keeping all nail tools clean, sterilized, and well-arranged.
• Give clients aftercare advice to help their nails last longer.
• Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude toward all clients.
• Stay updated with the latest nail trends, designs, and techniques.
• Ensure all chemicals and tools are handled safely and properly.
• Manage time well to handle walk-ins and booked appointments.
• Support the rest of the beauty team when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician.
• Strong skills in gel application, acrylics, and nail art.
• Fast, neat, and very attentive to detail.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nail hygiene and safe sterilization.
• Creative, reliable, and willing to learn new techniques.
• Must be ready to work on weekends and busy days.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
