Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize M&E plans, frameworks, and tools for GHS projects in line with donor and institutional requirements.
  
• Set up and maintain systems for routine data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.
  
• Work with the technical team to develop workplans and ensure all activities are aligned with project goals, indicators, and timelines.
  
• Coordinate the collection, analysis, and presentation of data to inform performance monitoring and reporting.
  
• Conduct routine data quality assessments and support data verification exercises.
  
• Generate regular monitoring reports and contribute to donor progress reports, evaluations, and presentations.
  
• Document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices for internal and external dissemination.
  
• Facilitate reflection sessions, after-action reviews, and adaptive learning activities with project teams.
  
• Provide training and technical support to project teams and partners on M&E tools, data use, and reporting.
  

Academic Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, or Numerical disciplines, or related field obtained from a chartered university. A Master’s degree is an added advantage. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and statistical packages such as R, Python, Stata or SAS.
  

Person Specification

• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, or Excel).
  
• Strong skills in report writing, and data visualization.
  
• Understanding of epidemic preparedness, disease surveillance, or One Health approaches is a plus.
  
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
