Laundry Officer

Supervise and coordinate hospital laundry operations to guarantee continuous, hygienic, and timely availability of clean linen across all hospital departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational workflow and daily activities in the hospital laundry unit.
  

• Align laundry workflows with hospital sanitary and clinical quality standards.
  

• Participate in the procurement, specification, and requisitions of laundry detergents and consumables.
  

• Ensure seamless supply and availability of clean hospital linen at all times.
  

• Train and guide laundry staff on modern hospital laundry procedures and infection prevention standards.
  

• Maintain accurate records and consumption registers for laundry inventory and consumables.
  

• Enforce discipline, occupational health, and safety standards among laundry staff.
  

Person/Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any humanities, social sciences, or administration discipline.
  

• Certificate in laundry operations, institutional housekeeping, or infection prevention and control practices.
  

Experience:

• Experience working in a healthcare/hospital setting is an added advantage.
