The Company
Join a well-known medical device organisation at the forefront of diabetes care. This global business specialises in innovative insulin management solutions, including technology that integrates with continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems to deliver automated, user-friendly treatment.
The Role
This is a hands-on, HR Generalist role supporting the Australian business while working closely with global HR teams. This is a highly operational role suited to someone who enjoys being in the detail and owning day-to-day HR processes.
You will act as the primary HR contact in Australia, partnering with local stakeholders while contributing to global HR initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day HR operations (onboarding, contract changes, performance reviews)
- Acting as the go-to HR contact for Australia, supporting managers and employees
- Providing guidance on Australian employment legislation and policies
- Managing employee lifecycle activities including renewals, terminations, and promotions
- Owning and maintaining HR systems (Workday), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency
- Supporting global HR initiatives (engagement surveys, performance cycles, projects)
- Assisting with workshops, offsites and internal HR programs
- Collaborating with global teams across the US, UK & APAC
Please note - This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, part-time (3 days per week).
About You
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years’ experience in HR (generalist, operations or shared services)
- Experience working in regional or global environments preferred
- Strong systems capability – Workday experience highly regarded
- Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR processes
- Confident communicator, comfortable supporting stakeholders and providing guidance independently
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused with a strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working across global time zones, including using tools like Teams and recorded updates to stay aligned
